Based in London.&#38;nbsp;

I am a queer Polish-Australian artist tracing the fractures between body, territory, and memory through participatory and site-specific performance, workshops, and immersive installation. Working through movement, ritual, and the materials of a place - its iron, its water, its histories - I give space to what land and bodies hold: the imprints of time, trauma, and resilience. My practice moves between inquiry and reckoning - between presence and absence, memory and loss, what can be touched and what can't.

I've exhibited and collaborated with communities across Italy, Spain, Iceland, Poland, Korea, Australia, the UK and Mexico, and that cross-cultural dialogue is at the root of how I create. I think of each work as a living laboratory, where the entanglement of bodies, space, movement, sound, and material becomes a way of remembering, re-sensitising, and reawakening our connection to the ecologies we're part of.

Currently I’m completing my Masters in Dance Movement Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, University of London. Training as a psychotherapist is reshaping how I make - bringing trauma-informed care, and a deeper attention to the body's capacity for regeneration, into my facilitation and performance practices.

		<description>Churnings - What do you scream for? &#38;nbsp;Participatory Performance&#38;nbsp;KOPPEL Collective, London &#38;nbsp;2026
Churnings is a participatory performance built around a single question I ask the audience, again and again: what do you scream for? They are invited to whisper their answer back to me. Refusing the spectator–spectacle relationship, it casts those present as instigators and activators, with my body as conduit. The screams arrive through me unevenly - some large, rumbling up and out of my body; others small, fragile, barely willing to pierce the surface, as though afraid of being heard. One by one they collect in the water, until what is screamed into can no longer be seen through.

We have been conditioned to look away - at reaching for the next distraction, the next dissociation, the next numbness before the feeling can land. Churnings refuses this. It asks instead that we stay with the murkiness we have made together - to remain inside the discomfort of a present we would rather not see clearly. What remains at the end is clouded water and the memory of what was screamed into it: a collective sediment and the residue of what we carry but rarely name.

Anchored in inquiry, this laboratory explored the boundaries between bodies and water, questioning how we absorb, retain, and release across time and place. Through movement, listening, and site-specific inquiry, with the community of Tulum, we investigated water as both a material and a methodology - one that flows, ruptures, seeps, and transforms. What can water teach us about relation, resistance, and renewal? And how might embodying its logic, shift the way we inhabit the world?

Residency &#38;amp; performance action, Blanca, Murcia, Spain2024

Over 4 hours a process of struggle, movement, resistance, acceptance and submerging occurred between myself and the clay bed. I found myself sinking into the thick clay, my body slowly pulled down as I struggled to resist its heavy grip. As I explored the meaning of duration, activated by my voice, the action unfolded over the course of 4 hours. The action concluded when I became silent, and the viewers bathed and washed me.

ALTARING is a durational live action that delves into the intricate relationship between bodily modification and the evolving sense of one’s self. Throughout the performance, Zosia methodically molds her body using body tape, transforming herself into an increasingly constrained and unrecognisable form. A series of community laboratories part of Via-Farini Artist-in-Residence, Milan2024

“Embodied Cartographies" is an research project in Milan, Italy, exploring temporary and permanent residents' connection to the city 's urban landscape. Through a series of community laboratories, it investigates the relationship between individuals and their surroundings through somatic practices and urban sociology theories. The laboratories included a 40-minute silent collective walk, allowing participants to heighten their senses and awareness of how their bodies feel in different spaces around Milan. Drawing from research on the nervous system and trauma-based inquiry, the practices aim to cultivate a sense of "place-fullness"– a deep connection to the spaces we inhabit.

Research, Installation, 2 live-performances &#38;amp; sculpture&#38;nbsp;Peripheral Memories Exhibition, Udine War Bunker (Rifugio Antiaereo), Italy 2023

The performance, marked by a ritualistic interplay between myself and the suﬀocating embrace of plastic, allegorises both the ecological decay and the internalised, social and political narratives of the female experience. The performances took place in Udine’s War bunker, where the public was invited to engage. My body's movements with the plastic through slow and fast inhales evolved into a dynamic dialogue, encapsulating the tensions between restriction and transformation, constraint and metamorphosis. I entered the performance in a complete state of presence “ for the material to inhabit me ”. What resulted was an introspective experience, an embodied inquiry of my own female experience within a contemporary landscape marked by ecological and societal complexities.

In collaboration with Mexican artist Jordi Hernandez's timber sculpture, I engaged in a dialogue between human and sculpture. The rope, a sinewy umbilicus, orchestrated a balletic, co-dependent interplay between my body and the sculpture. Through various movements—static, slow, and fast—I created a bond with the wooden sculpture. As I moved, the sculpture responded in kind, embodying defiance against its innate inanimateness. This synergy unveiled a narrative of forms—a dialogue in which the organic curvature of my body melded with the angular stoicism of the wooden structure. I did not just coexist with the sculpture; I became an integral part of its existence, and it became mine, challenging the conventional demarcations between artist, object, and audience. The performance resonated as a commentary on the human-environment continuum. In this interstice, the friction and tension symbolised the often overlooked, yet intrinsic, nexus between humans and nature. Corporeal emerged as a reflective mirror not just for myself—but also a contemplative vessel that implores us to reconceptualise our understanding of self in relation to our surroundings.
